Take heed to what you hear

Mark 4:24New King James Version (NKJV)

24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.

Ecclesiastes 7:5New King James Version (NKJV)

It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise
Than for a man to hear the song of fools.

Psalm 53 New King James Version (NKJV)

Folly of the Godless, and the Restoration of Israel

To the Chief Musician. Set to “Mahalath.” A Contemplational of David.

53 The fool has said in his heart,
There is no God.”
They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity;
There is none who does good.

2 God looks down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
3 Every one of them has turned aside;
They have together become corrupt;
There is none who does good,
No, not one.

4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge,
Who eat up my people as they eat bread,
And do not call upon God?
5 There they are in great fear
Where no fear was,
For God has scattered the bones of him who encamps against you;
You have put them to shame,
Because God has despised them.

6 Oh, that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion!
When God brings back the captivity of His people,Let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad.

Teaching

What we hear can make us and break us. Your faith comes from hearing. You must pay attention to good things. Listening to secular music, the more you listen to it, the further away from Christ you become.  Some prophets are false prophets and we should be able to descern wether to tap into what they are saying or not. It is much better to listen to the bible being read, it makes you wise. Their are educated fools, meaning they got into a great University and college and get a good job but spiritually they are weaker than a stick.
